A Day Of Love, One Year In The Making

Well, the wedding was an absolute success! It could not have gone any better, been any happier, or felt any more full of love. It was magical and romantic and fun and PERFECT.

And, more than anything, I couldn't have been more excited to see our hard work come together to create an environment that was so...US. Every detail had been planned and carried out just the way we wanted. It truly was Our Wedding. Our Story. Our Love being shared with all our friends and family. And it was AMAZING.

And now it is such a pleasant relief to be done with it. To free up my mind and creative energy, and focus again on art, illustration, and doing whatever I like.

And not only that, but now is the time that I need to really look at the direction my life and career are heading in. I sat down and made myself a game plan as to how I plan to get back into the groove and transition from full time day job as a web designer back into full time illustrator. It's a scary thought to really put it on paper, but I know in my heart that I need to take the reins of my art career and put it back on a path where I can nurture my abilities and grow as an artist before I lose touch completely.

So, in a word...April.

By April I plan to renovate my artistic life, redirect my portfolio, and really make a go at being a true, dedicated, full-time illustrator.
